Why is your company signing the Commitment to Excellence?

We believe all students deserve the opportunity to become STEM-literate and prepared for college and careers.

What are your company’s specific PreK-12 STEM interests (e.g. computer programming, robotics, engineering, etc.)?

We focus on creating high-quality and engaging professional development for teachers and classroom resources for their students. We highlight connections between the key concepts in STEM and the careers of diverse women and men working in STEM today.

What PreK-12 STEM programs, particularly those contained in STEMworks, does your company support?

We have provided proprietary Sally Ride Science teacher training on STEM topics and careers for diverse partners, including ExxonMobil, Northrop Grumman, The Office of Naval Research and NASA.

Please share ways in which your company collaborates with state/local organizations or other companies around STEM learning.

In addition to teacher trainings sponsored by partners such as Northrop Grumman and the Office of Naval Research, we collaborate with the International Space Station (ISS), the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum, and the Challenger Center to offer our Sally Ride EarthKAM program to more than 600,000 students in 80 countries around the globe.
